Ji Seokjin talks about his friendship with BTS's Kim Seokjin (Jin) and why he doesn't message him first

Ji Seokjin is known as a popular South Korean comedian, singer, television presenter, actor, and broadcaster. He graduated from Ajou University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
Ji Seokjin and BTS's Kim Seokjin (Jin) are known as very good celebrity friends. They first met at the filming of the show "Running Man" and exchanged numbers at that time. In a recent interview, Ji Seokjin said that they exchanged numbers because of their names being the same ("Seokjin"), but became good friends and kept texting each other to this day.

In the new interview, Ji Seokjin shared a story about him trying to sing "Dynamite" on camera and then jokingly texting Jin, apologizing for his bad singing. He received an answer that it was okay, and if it helps the song become more popular, then Jin is happy!
Ji Seokjin mentioned Jin and send a video message to him on TV show “Problem Child in House”:
'When he texted me, I said sorry for messing up Dynamite. How nice he is! He said, “It’s okay. I was thankful that the song became known more in that way.”'
Other hosts kept insisting on sending a video message to Jin despite Ji Seokjin being hesitant he might disturb Jin while he is working. Still, he sent a cute short message:
"Jiniya~ I'm always supporting you from afar. I don't call you these days so that you can focus on your activities. It's because I don't want to disturb you. Anyway, you are always so awesome.I say this sometimes, but you are really cool, Jiniya. You are the pride of Korea. The same goes for the other BTS members. Awesome."

Jin has many close friends among the most known media personalities in Korea. All of them keep praising Jin for having an interesting, creative personality and an outstandingly accepting and kind soul. Ji Seokjin is one of these people as he praised Jin's personality in his own video from July.
