Burnout is one of those things people rarely talk about because it's not at the extreme end of depression or because many times you still seem to be functional in your daily life, in my country we call it walking straight into a wall, Gå i väggen. It's called that because you're too tired to continue and the path seems locked, you have nothing else to give, you are drained of mental energy. What the underlying problem is, differs, everyone is different sometimes it's monotony, sometimes toxic environments, sometimes expecting perfection from oneself, we can never know for sure but it's important to find an outlet, to find support, to find solutions and to sometimes just rest because your mental health shouldn't be a job. Seokjin shared abyss with us, and it's was very brave of him to do so, by doing so he didn't only start his journey of healing but the journey of others afraid to speak up or let anyone in. I'm very grateful for Abyss and I'm sure it's going to help so many people! I love his music!
