According to Gaon on July 9, the title of top digital song and top streaming song for the first half of 2021 went to IU's "Celebrity". Soon after its release during the 5th week of 2021, IU's "Celebrity" took up #1 on the digital song chart and the streaming chart for 6-consecutive weeks.
Next, trot singer Lim Young Woong's "My Starry Love" took the title of the top downloaded song for the first half of 2021, after ranking #1 for 5-consecutive weeks.
The honor of the top album for the first half of 2021 went to NCT Dream's 1st full album 'Hot Sauce', recording a total of 2,049,042 sales.
Lastly, the title of the top social artist for the first half of 2021 went to BTS, who maintained #1 on Gaon's social 2.0 chart for 4-consecutive months.
