Rain makes 30B KRW profit (~$26M USD) after selling his label's building in Cheongdam, Seoul

Rain sold a commercial building he purchased 13 years ago, making 30 billion KRW (about $26 million USD) in capital gains.

According to reports on June 21st, Rain purchased the building in 2008 for 16.8 billion KRW(~$14.7 million USD) and later sold this year for 49.5 billion KRW (~$43.5 million USD). He has been using the building for his label, Rain Company. Among the attractive features of the building is its close proximity to Cheongdam Station and the luxury brand district. 

Numerically computed, Rain has gained 32.7 billion KRW but his actual profit would be less than that after considering he has spent 7 to 8 billion KRW for renovating his building, not to mention the taxes.
