High Entertainment has announced the label's intention to take legal action on Han Ye Seul's behalf.

The actress signed with High Entertainment this past week, and the label is ready to take legal action against ongoing malicious commenters and rumors. On June 4, High Entertainment stated in a press release, "The company intends to take a strong response to the dissemination of false information, indiscriminate malicious posts, and comments with unconfirmed facts about Han Ye Seul. False information about Han Ye Seul began to circulate through YouTube channels over the past 2 weeks, which has led to malicious posts and comments."

The label continued that Han Ye Seul herself attempted to resolve the speculation and rumors, but they will now be taking legal action. High Entertainment added, "Please be aware Han Ye Seul's boyfriend is an ordinary person whose personal rights deserve to be protected." 

After Han Ye Seul went public about her relationship with theater actor Ryu Sung Jae, the couple began facing speculation about his alleged past as a male escort and accusations the actress is the star suspected to have taken drugs at the 'Burning Sun' club. Han Ye Seul personally denied the rumors on multiple occasions, even writing a lengthy letter.
