BTS's 'Butter' breaks 'Dynamite's record for most MV views within first 24 hours on YouTube

Another major music video milestone for BTS's latest single "Butter" has just been confirmed!

On May 23 KST, YouTube announced that "Butter" enjoyed the highest amount of viewers within the first 24 hours of any music video ever uploaded on the video streaming platform. Until now, the spot was held by the music video for their previous English single "Dynamite."

According to YouTube officials, within the first 24 hours of the music video's release, "Butter" acquired approximately 108.2 million views, while "Dynamite" reached 101.1 million views within its first 24 hours when it was released last August.

Meanwhile, immediately upon the music video's release, "Butter" also broke the record for most viewers of a music video premiere, which also was previously set by "Dynamite."
