Korean beauty brand 'Peripera' has removed its new muse (G)I-DLE's Soojin from all of its official social media accounts.
On March 1st KST, 'Peripera' removed Soojin's pictorials on its social media accounts, following the recent school bullying accusations made against the idol. Previously on the 19th, 'Peripera' announced that (G)I-DLE's Soojin was selected to be its new model through social media, right before the controversy over school bullying surfaced.
According to media reports, 'Peripera' has previously stated the company was "debating over the responses to the model's school bullying controversy".
Meanwhile, Soojin has made a statement denying any involvement in school bullying though she admitted she was not a model student. Further, Soojin's label Cube Entertainment has announced to take strict legal action
It's common practice for brands to hide ads while "ambassadors" are under public scrutiny in any country. it's not until it's announced they've broken the contract with an idol is it anything to read into.
