BTS Suga, a songwriter, producer and one of BTS rappers has been chosen as the winner in Dabeme Pop's "Dabeme Best Male Rapper" poll. Dabeme Pop is an online voting site where the public are given the chance to vote for their idols in several categories. Suga was competing against 14 other rappers. Dabeme Pop announced the results of the voting on YouTube.

Suga, who was acknowledged for his producing skills by professionals and recognized by the public - songs he produced for IU, Suran and Heize became successful in Korea, is also a skilled rapper whose mixtapes discuss matters such as his struggles with depression, fame or social phobia. His raw and honest lyrics as well as rapping skills are known among fans and critics.

2020 has been a successful year for him as three music videos with songs produced by him became the most viewed music videos by a Korean soloist: Daechwita (from his latest mixtape D-2 that topped Itunes Chart in 101 countries), Eight (a song he produced and co-written with IU) and Shadow (a song promoting BTS latest album, Map Of The Soul:7)
