Actor Park Jin Young opened up about the times he argued with his GOT7 members during their promotional activities.
On March 10, the YouTube channel TEO aired an episode of its segment 'Salon Drip,' featuring 'Shining' actors Park Jin Young and Kim Min Ju.
When asked whether he still keeps in touch with his GOT7 members, Park Jin Young said, “We have a group chat, but we don’t contact each other often. Even without regular contact, it feels like family. I just check in occasionally to see if they’re doing well.”
In response, Jang Do Yeon commented, “I heard GOT7 fought as much as groups like Shinhwa or Super Junior,” and Park Jin Young admitted, “We fought a lot.” He added, “Sometimes someone in choreography, there are moves where we lightly tap each other. But sometimes, one of us taps harder than expected. If someone got annoyed, they’d hit back harder, and then the other person would respond by hitting harder. And we'd fight like that.” After hearing the short anecdote, Jang Do Yeon laughed and chimed in, saying, "You guys were like kindergarten or something."
Jang Do Yeon then asked, “I saw an interview saying GOT7 once grabbed each other by the collar in a broadcast bathroom, but then acted friendly again once they went on stage. Is that true?” Park Jin Young confirmed, “We did fight in the bathroom. But once it was time to go on stage, we would smile and go up,” humorously reenacting the scene.
On how they reconciled, he explained, “After about an hour, we would make up. Even if we were angry, we’d laugh and resolve it over a meal. Now, we just feel like family. Because we fought so much back then, we rarely fight now and have only grown closer.”
