Brand new girl group Weeekly is set to debut in June, and has been releasing daily introduction videos. Throughout all of the teasers, each girl is trying to communicate with and find the other members, who are either on Earth or Mars. There seems to be reoccurring items like potted plants, blinking lights, books and toys about space, and basket balls that link each of them. Every teaser is very reminiscent of old children's TV shows from multiple decades. This interesting incorporation of tropes and characteristics of so many different shows has never really been done before in K-pop. Below are the seven teasers for each member; Jihan, Shin Jiyoon, Park Soeun, Zoa, Lee Jaehee, Lee Soojin, and Monday.
