A month and a half after the biggest coronavirus outbreak in Daegu - South Korea not only flattened the curve but is really currently winning against COVID-19. Koreans did it even without ordering a mandatory lockdown! For the whole time public transport was functioning, all big shopping malls also were opened.
South Korea's Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-Wha said the number of COVID-19 cases had "stabilized" in her country. She said her government had "acted quickly and pre-emptively", explaining that robust testing and contact tracing had been key to stemming the pandemic and bringing it under control. She added that full transparency was also key.
The South Korea foreign minister said her government’s philosophy had always been to "respect the people's right to freedom of movement", but added that travel restrictions had been put in place in order to avoid a second wave of the virus.
Kang said the idea of a mandatory lockdown would not be acceptable to South Koreans and that the country did not impose one even when there was an early outbreak of the virus in February. "The idea of a mandatory blockade would be contrary to our principle of openness," she explained.

That latest news gives us a light of hope that in the 2nd part of May or early June we might see a small group of 200-300 fans back in music tv shows because a much bigger number of people is gathering all the time in metro stations, shopping malls, offices, markets or near Han river.
According to studies, the big second wave of COVID-19 shouldn't appear if people won't gather together in closed big arenas under a roof like mega-churches where 3-4k people can attend masses or concert arenas with big capacity.
Let's pay attention, America! I'm looking at you Trump 🤕
