TWICE has broken another record as their 2019 income in Japan becomes the highest amount earned by a Korean female group in a year based on Oricon Chart's history.
The record was previously held by 2nd generation iconic Kpop girl group KARA with their highest recorded annual earnings in Japan amounting to 4.926 billion yen back in 2011.
TWICE's annual income from their albums blew up from 1.54 billion yen in 2017 when they debuted in Japan to 3.71 billion yen in 2018 and 5.196 billion yen this year.
Congratulations, TWICE!
They’re so humble and hard working that you’d never guess they’re multimillionaires.
