Kpop culture is a fabulous thing. It brings people together from all walks of life. It's a celebration of shared passion that could almost be a spiritual awakening.
But it also can create some problems. And one of the main concerns is who paved the way for who? No one can show up on day one and take over the world. The seeds have to be planted first before anything can grow into something real good.
Lots of fandoms have been doing some debating on the subject about who laid the groundwork for Bts to get known across the Earth. Names like Super Junior, Big Bang, and even EXO are thrown around the most. But what these noobs don't realize is it's actually TVXQ.
TVXQ to this day is the biggest kPop band of all time. Their popularity at their peak has yet to be topped and probably never will. They aren't called Gods of kPop for nothing.
So next time you see Bts winning social justice awards and kPop dance covers in the Aztecs please remember that's all thanks to TVXQ.
Hey I may be a TVXQ fan and not even a BTS fan but keep your entitled opinions to yourself and don’t taint either of their names... and please don’t call people noobs.. the second gen are great! But let’s be kind to the current generation who are working equally as hard or maybe even harder to get to where they are today...
