Old comments from a rapper have shined light on the culture in YG Entertainment. The rapper named Pryhyme was active in the Group 'Moo Ga Dang' that debuted 2006. The group unexpectedly gained some fame at the time.
"I knew at the start of Moogadang, that Moogadang was just a group for YG to kill time before Big Bang's debut and to form a foundation for Eunjoo's solo, as well as Baekkyung's production work, but I was grateful for anything that I was given." - Pryhyme

One of the other members of the group was Yang Hyun Suk's future wife, Lee Eun Ju. The YG founder got interested in her when she was in her second year of middle school and was later recruited at age 16. Before being active in Moo Ga Dang, she was in a group named Swi.T who supposedly failed because Yang Hyun Suk didn't want his young love interest to become popular.

As years went by Pryhyme and the group was forgotten until 2016. Then Pryhyme became a hot issue as the former close friend of Yang Hyun Suk's wife commented on Yoo Byung Jae's post.
"I'd be where you are by now if I had served Hyun Suk hyung drinks every single night. But I was sick of that dark place and finally ran out after 6 years." - Pryhyme
Yoo ByungJae have in the past jokingly described his agency as a “drug store” or “pharmacy” and has said there were many people in the agency who deserved to go to prison.

The comment from Prhyme was deleted, but later explained on Facebook "I didn't delete the comment because I was scared of hate or because it wasn't true. The fact that I had to serve drinks for years on end can be testified by all of the people who worked at the club."
"After signing with the company, I had more weekend alcohol gatherings than schedules. It even affected my health. It was hard to even have a simple meal with my family on the weekend. If a famous or important person came, I often called the driver and went home alone in the morning after taking care of things."
He therefore decided to leave YG Entertainment, although it also meant the end of his career as a celebrity:
"Ever since my contract with YG ended, it adversely affected my promotions. I eventually gave up any hope I had of a TV career and started over from the bottom of the pit, sweating on the field and promising anyone who would listen to me that I would work hard."
Many netizens at the time found him untrustworthy, stating that it was his lack of talent and not unfair treatment from the company that created his situation.
[+24, -25] It's hard to just believe him though... I'd believe it if a majority of the singers under that company had something negative to say but Big Bang, Se7en, Wheesung have never said anything bad about Yang Hyun Suk. I just think he had no talent or popularity to sustain himself after leaving YG.
