Korean audiences are showing support for 'Girl Cops', which was ranked number one in box office sales for Korean films today, drawing over 200,000 people to the cinemas on May 12th KST. It was ranked second only to 'Avengers: Endgame' in overall box office sales.
The film saw a notable surge in popularity following its initial release on May 9th, gaining more sales in one day as it did during the entirety of its first weekend in theaters.
'Girl Cops' is a crime comedy film starring Ra Mi Ran, a former police officer, and Lee Sung Kyung, a rookie policewoman, who team up in an unofficial investigation of a digital sex crime case.
