It's been revealed that Seungri's former manager received a salary from Burning Sun.
According to a report by MBC 'News Desk' on the 12th, Seungri paid tens of millions of won of his manager's salary from 'Burning Sun' funds. According to 'News Desk', the police revealed that 30 million won (~$27,000) of 'Burning Sun' funds were paid periodically to Seungri's manager Mr. Mo every month. Ji was not a 'Burning Sun' employee but a YG Entertainment employee, but nevertheless Seungri deposited ~$27,000 a month to his account. This fact was corroborated by YG Entertainment and according to the label, Ji left the agency in February when they found out that he received funds from the club around the time 'Burning Sun Gate' was on the rise.
Because the manager's salary was paid by Burning Sun, not Seungri or the agency, the suspicions of embezzlement by Seungri are very strong. In the meantime, the allegations that Seungri was "irrelevant to Burning Sun management" are likely false and suspicions about the owner of the company [Burning Sun] are growing.
It has not been confirmed whether Ji's salary was ever paid by YG Entertainment or if he returned the funds or whether he received the salary from two places. A police official said, "We are analyzing the confiscated materials to identify the source of the funds."
