IZ*ONE's Jang Won Young will be absent from this week's performance of "Violeta" on 'Show! Music Core' due to her middle school graduation exam. 

Label Off the Record Entertainment announced on April 12 the IZ*ONE member would be continuing with homeschooling after her middle school exam. Off the Record Entertainment stated, "Jang Won Young will be unable to participate in the performance on MBC's 'Music Core' on the 13th due to 2019's first middle school graduation qualification exam. Jang Won Young, her parents, Off the Record Entertainment, and her agency Starship Entertainment have had thorough discussions for a while about her current situation and her future. We've decided she'll continue her education through home schooling and get accredited through qualification exams."

The agency concluded, "Off the Record Entertainment and Starship Entertainment respect these opinions of Jang Won Young and her parents, and we will do our best to provide full support so that she can accomplish this."
