On April 30, one exclusive report caused a stir by stating that project girl group IOI may reunite this year. 

The report claimed that IOI planned to attend the upcoming '2019 KCON LA' in August as their reunion stage, followed by a new album release in September, as well as a year-end concert. 

In response to the above report, a rep from CJ ENM told media outlets, "There is nothing confirmed regarding the lineup for 'KCON LA' in August. We are currently checking up on rumors related to IOI's attendance." 

Additionally, an associate of the project group responded, "It's true that we are currently discussing IOI's reunion plans, but nothing is confirmed." 

As many of you know, the 'Produce 101' season 1 girl group IOI disbanded back in January of 2017.
