Latest report by the newspaper Donga Ilbo shows new information about the infamous chatroom.

The 8 members of the chat apparently had a strong friendship, with all of them investing into a bar in Gangnam district that Seungri opened. 

Out of these 8 members there have so far been 4 people charged for sharing illegal videos in the chatroom. These 4 people are Jung Joon Young, a girl group member’s older brother (Mr. A) and two others.

All though they had such a strong friendship that they would share illegal videos, their friendship couldn't handle one of the members arrest.

Apparently Mr. A was charged for possession of marijuana. This resulted in all of the members kicking him out of their chatroom, because the incident was being reported on the news. It's concluded in the report that they didn’t want to be negatively affected by his scandal, so they decided to cut him off.

A friend to them have stated, “From what I’ve heard, Mr. A smoked marijuana with other members of the group, but he didn’t rat them out during the investigation. So when they kicked him out despite him being loyal to them, he probably felt very betrayed.“
