With all the news regarding Seungri, JJY, chatroom and other celebrities, I think it is a good thing to know what the laws in Korea actually says about illegal filming and porn distribution.
One thing foreigners need to know about South Korea is that although I am sure many people watch porn, it is technically illegal in the country.
Bad news for the celebrities that recently got caught is that according to an article on Korea Herald that I found, the laws were tightened up at the end of last year.
Starting December 18th of last year, sex offenders a person who filmed and distributed explicit videos or images without consent could face up to 5 years in jail or a fine of 30 million won (about $27,000).
Those who make money off of this could face up to seven years in prison. Currently do not think anyone made money from the videos.
Regarding prostitution, which Seungri is accused of, he can see up to 15 years in prison for sex trafficking, as it came out he brokered women for clientle . Those who "purchased" the women face a lesser punishment of 1 year in prison and about ($2600 fine).

Okay, but what about rape? I mean what they did to those girls is awful and honestly they all deserve a lot more then 15 years.
