Romain Ponsart, 26, a French figure skater and the boyfriend ofMariah Bell, 22, is claiming Lim Eun Soo, 16, lied about her injury. 

On March 21, Ponsart expressed anger on the criticism toward his girlfriend, who came under fire for allegedly "attacking" Lim during warm-ups for the 'ISU World Championships - Women's Short Program.'

Ponsart commented, "I can't believe what I'm reading right now... I think you should call the Rinks management or any skaters that skate at Lakewood!! And I can't believe a skater try to destroy a competitor by saying such lies... but perfect timing to do that between short and long at world championships."

Ponsart's comment also received criticism. Ultimately, he turned his Instagram account private. 

Meanwhile, the U.S. Figure Skater has delivered an apology, stating the collision was unintentional.
