Plans for Jung Joon Young's upcoming restaurant in France have fallen through amid his recent chatroom controversy.
On March 18, a member of his restaurant project told media outlets, "It was never officially opened, and it was always planned as a 2-week pop-up restaurant short-term rental. The chefs and related professionals were only planned to be there for 2 weeks as well. At the time, the response wasn't bad and it became a hit in South Korea, so Jung Joon Young was thinking of opening a restaurant officially. However, with Jung Joon Young's recent controversy, 50% of the investors pulled out, and the plans have fallen through."
In October of last year, Jung Joon Young opened a Korean restaurant called 'Maison De Coree' in Paris, France.
