MAMAMOO's Hwa Sa shared her reaction to malicious comments on her revealing outfits.
On the March 21 airing of SBS' 'We Will Channel You,' Yang Se Hyung mentioned Hwa Sa's viral stage outfits and said, "People say it's (the outfits are) only possible because it is Hwa Sa."
Hwa Sa replied, "I saw a comment stating I took off clothes for fame. I was just being me so I was startled after coming across such comment."
She coolly showed understanding, stating, "Overseas, they wear stickers instead of a bra when wearing a see-through top. I was also shocked after seeing that, so I got to reflect on myself and came to understand the malicious comments."

She's sexy and confident. She chooses clothes she feels suits her personality. She's talked about that before. If she was wearing something like a 'sexy cheerleader' costume then yeah I can see the issue since that sexualizes younger females. In this case though she's wearing clothes that she enjoys that also match her age and the style of Mamamoo's music. Women are allowed to be tastefully sexy. She's not wearing a g-string and pasties on stage. Her outfits are form fitting and often show a lot of leg or cleavage but she balances how far she takes it really well. I adore Mamamoo because they don't try to pretend to be teen girls but embrace their full womanhood.
