An 'Aori Ramen' in Bucheon is assuring customers they have no relation to Seungri.
Recently, a sign was put up at the restaurant, stating,
"Hello, We, 'Bucheon Aori Ramen,' do not have a family relationship or any other relations to Seungri. We are purely just a franchise. We promise a kind restaurant that provides service and delicious ramen that you can always trust in."
'Aori Ramen,' a Japanese ramen franchise launched and operated by Seungri, is reportedly facing a major loss due to the ongoing scandal involving the singer. Customers are reportedly avoiding dining in at the restaurants operated by Seungri's relatives.
There are a total of '48 'Aori Ramen' restaurants - 43 in Korea and 5 overseas.
that’s the pros and cons of buying a franchise whose a celebrity is one of stockholders/shareholders/CEO. good , if the celebrity has a positive image, bad if the celebrity got into a scandal. it is a double edge sword. it would be a good decision to just buy the franchise of ichiran ramen than its rip-off counterpart.
