On February 28, a legal representative from Big Bang member Seungri's side spoke with press in regard to the idol wrapped up his first investigation with police, over the course of approximately 8.5 hours back on February 27.
Seungri's legal rep stated that after a chemical analysis of the idol's hair follicles in an initial test, no traces of illegal drugs were found. "Chemical analysis of the hair follicles can show results of drugs used as far as 2-3 years ago. The chemical analysis has been sent over to the National Forensic Service office, so official results as well as a police statement will take about 1-2 weeks," the rep explained.
Furthermore, the legal rep added, "[Seungri] also underwent a deep and thorough investigation with the police regarding the false news which claimed that he hired prostitutes, in addition to all matters involving 'Burning Sun'. We are looking forward to the truth finally coming to light soon, after so many controversial accusations."
Finally, Seungri's stance remains that he will willingly appear for any additional police investigations in person, to ensure accurate and thorough results.
