MBC variety show 'I Live Alone' has been evaluated by the Korea Communications Standards Commission (KCSC) for remarks about Henry's friend.
During an episode where Henry visited his hometown in Canada, the 'I Live Alone' members joked about Henry's friend, stating, "I thought he was your dad's friend..." "Why does he look so old?" "Who's the dad and who's the friend?"
KCSC claimed it's inappropriate to evaluate someone's appearance for humor, and gave 'I Live Alone' an official 'recommendation.'
'Recommendation' is given to minor broadcast violations. A final decision on the issue can be made by 5 judges of KCSC. There will not be any legal punishment toward the broadcast station or the show.
The thing about Koreans is they're SOOOOO SENSITIVE about the lamest things yet they're so INSENSITIVE about the things that should be common sense.
