A gynecologist is under investigation for illegal filming. 

According to the Seoul Yangcheon Police Station on February 1, a gynecologist working at a hospital in Yangcheon has been sent to prosecution for secretly taking photos of a patient's private areas with a digital camera. 

A female patient called the police after hearing shutter noises during an examination. The police investigated and confiscated the gynecologist's camera. The gynecologist hid the memory card in his socks in an attempt to cover up his crime. However, the police were able to find the memory card and used digital forensic to recover all data including photos of the patient. 

The patient also claimed she was sexually assaulted by the gynecologist who touched her body, stating, "I'll give you a massage." The sexual assault allegations were dropped as the police could not find clear evidence. 

The case has been forwarded to prosecution for the illegal filming.
