Seventeen's Mingyu talked about Kwon Hyuk Soo - the unexpected member of the 97-ers idol club.

On the January 24 airing of KBS2's 'Happy Together 4,' Mingyu talked about his close friendship with ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo. The idol shared they became tight because they're the same age and live close to each other. Mingyu also shared he's close to other 97-er idols.

The 97-er idols club includes GOT7's Yugyeom, BamBam, NCT's Jaehyun, BTS' Jungkook, Mingyu, Cha Eun Woo, and more. 

The MC then asked, "I heard Kwon Hyk Soo is part of that club too?" Mingyu explained, "I have a very good relationship with Hyuk Soo hyung. The three of us (Mingyu, Cha Eun Woo, and Kwon Hyuk Soo) meet often. We didn't really have a reason for him (to join the 97-ers club) so we said he can join since he weighs 97 kilograms."
