Club Burning Sun released official statements on the assault allegations.
On January 29, Burning Sun shared an official response to the ongoing controversy via Instagram. The head director Lee Sung Hyun and Lee Mon Ho of Burning Sun apologized on behalf of their employees and announced to properly engage in the police investigation.
Burning Sun also shared details on the night of the incident. According to the club, a Thai woman was asked to leave after she was found stealing drinks at the VIP table. During this process, the woman hit the security guard's head. An employee with English skills attempted to explain the situation to the woman, but she reacted with anger and physically assaulted the employees. The police arrived at the scene and she was arrested. The case drew to a close with her paying a fine.
Meanwhile, 'KBS News' reported that Big Bang's Seungri resigned as the head of Burning Sun last week.
how convenient that they have a ready explanation that throws blame on the victim. Also, how convenient that Seungri just happen to resign just before this whole incident came to light. I'd understand if he had quit months ago. But this literally happened last week. Bull. Shit.
