'2018 Melon Music Awards' spoke up about the issues involving Son Tae Young.
On December 3, a rep from the '2018 MMA' stated to Sports Today, "We sincerely apologize for causing a displeasing incident with lack of control at the event."
The rep continued, "It's true that Son Tae Young's side requested the kids to see her presenting the award. However, we shouldn't have let them sit in the artist area. Anyway, it is our fault that we couldn't properly manage the staff and the situation. We will make sure such an incident doesn't occur again."
At the '2018 MMA' on December 1, Son Tae Young's son and niece were spotted sitting at the reserved artist section with idol groups and celebrities. Netizens fired heavy criticism for giving special privilege to the young children. In response, Son Tae Young's agency issued an apology.
