Insiders shared more details on Wanna One's possible contract extension.
On October 3, a rep from Swing Entertainment stated to Sports Kyunghyang, "We have got together and had several discussions (about the contract extension)," however, "We have yet to decide if they will disband as scheduled or extend."
A rep from one Wanna One member's agency also stated, "There are various opinions from continuing for several more months to extending Wanna One's promotion period while also promoting as solo artists under their respective agencies, or completing promotions altogether after the award ceremonies in January 2019. The fans have varying opinions as well, so we haven't been able to come to a decision yet."
Wanna One is scheduled to disband on December 31, 2018. However, rumors state CJ E&M is pressuring the members of Wanna One to extend their contracts. Meanwhile, Wanna One is making their final comeback in November.
