The wedding was held as a private ceremony in Seoul on September 29. Veteran actor Lee Duk Hwa officiated the ceremony, while Kim Nam Hee's friends from his college years treated the bride and groom to various congratulatory performances. The couple plans to travel to Italy for their honeymoon.
According to Korean news outlets, Kim Nam Hee and his non-celebrity wife first began dating ten years ago when they were both theater students at Seoul's Sogang University.
