The group evaluations took place on this week's 'Produce 48'.
On the July 6 episode, the trainees were separated into groups 1 and 2. Within the groups, the trainees were once again separated into different teams and had to prepare cover performances of TWICE, Red Velvet, AOA, IOI, Black Pink, and more.
After watching their stage, the audience voted for the best trainee. The group with the most audience votes are given a benefit of 1,000 votes.
The top 12 trainees (without the benefit votes) are as follows:

The final ranking for the group evaluations including both the audience and mobile votes will be announced in the next episode. The top 58 trainees will continue in the competition, while #59 and below will be eliminated.
