MASC's ACE made a different kind of approach to Chibin with a public apology.

On July 29, exclusive reports from E-Daily revealed that ACE had reached out with another formal apology. After re-condemning himself for the issue, ACE acknowledged that "a respectful apology to my 'dongsaeng' [Chibin] should have come first" before any reprisal for his own rights.
"I considered Chibin as my own brother, so I wanted to treat him well. I wanted to lead the team as a hyung". ACE continued, "It is also true that I tried to organize my thoughts, in order to explain the parts that I believed were unfair."
In addition, the idol also declared that, although he understands his wrongdoings, he will "take legal action without choice" if "bloated and falsified" rumors continue to disseminate. ACE wrote, "I have reached my limits, where it is now impossible to overcome the pain that comes from information that are completely different from the truth."
ACE, in sum, apologized to the public for his unprofessional attitude as a singer, and to "all dongsaengs in the team who have worked so hard together for success."
