Welcome to Arirang TV's series where we introduce various artists from Korea to the international audience each month! With the help from Arirang TV's 'I'M LIVE' a Korean music program that introduces the authentic beauty of Korean contemporary music to the world, we hope to be adding diversity and possibly enlightening our international readers with the Korean music scene that has not yet been touched on.

1. ADOY
This band burst onto the Korean music scene in 2017 with the EP, "CATNIP," but this rookie band is actually made of some well-known members of Korean music: Zee of From The Airport, Oh Ju-hwan from Eastern Sidekick, Jung Da-young from Trampauline, and Park Geun-chang from Small O. Together, they are combining their talents to create what they describe as "commercial indie." Thanks to the surprising amount of diversity in their music and subject matter, not to mention outstanding musicality, the band has already been nominated for Best Modern Rock Album of the Year at the 2018 Korean Music Awards.
On this episode, the quartet performs "Grace," "Don't Stop," "I Just Can't Forget Her," "San Francisco" and "Laika" from their debut release, "CATNIP," which is an homage to the band's name that is the name of Oh Ju-hwan's cat "YODA" spelled backwards. With their fantastic performance skills and stage manners, the members deeply impressed the audience.
2. Lalasweet
Thanks to their refreshing vibes, the band is also highly sought after at large-scale festivals, especially those taking place in spring. Their music feels very natural and comfortable - it's just the perfect choice for anyone who is looking for mellow and delightful.

3. Eddy Kim
Eddy Kim made himself known to the public through the audition program "Superstar K" in the middle of his compulsory military duties. Upon enlistment, he made his official debut with the mini-album, "The Manual," and has been taking numerous artistic challenges to diversity his musicality. Along with his songwriting skills, the artist is also known for his ability to play the acoustic guitar, which together makes him a highly sought-after musician at festivals and events.
On this episode, Eddy presents a good glimpse of his versatile musicality with the songs "The Manual," "Whoa Whoa," "Poom," "Bet on Me," "You Are So Beautiful" from the soundtrack of "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" as well as his cover of Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You."
