In the early morning hours of July 25, B1A4's CNU left a heartfelt letter of apology for BANA.
CNU began, "I'm not sure where to start.. It's the first time in a very long time that I'm sharing updates with you all, and I'm careful and afraid to share about me at the moment. Until lately, I've spent time arranging various thoughts while looking back on the past. Because most of those past moments where spent with B1A4 and BANA, there isn't a single moment which I do not cherish. Which is why I am even more apologetic toward the fans."
The idol then continued, "Now, I would like to respect the wishes of my comrades who have been with me for the past 10 years, and I want to cheer them on. Because of my clingy personality, I had a difficult time accepting it; I was disappointed and miserable. But now, I must try to suppress those feelings. I must believe that there is new hope in what's happening right now, that it is for a new future with fans, and now we are trying to go back to our work with resolve. Through this time, which felt like painful growth spurts I'm experiencing for the very first time, I was able to discover the worth of numerous important things I must protect."
Finally, CNU wrapped up with, "From now on, I will cry, laugh, and find happiness by spending time with you, and in order to do this, I want to lean on fans' shoulders like I've always done. Without rushing, I want to find happiness in little things, step by step, with my dongsaengs."
Here, CNU (27) referred to his group B1A4 as "dongsaengs", seemingly indicating the remaining members of B1A4 who decided to renew their contracts with WM Entertainment - Sandeul (26) and Gongchan (25). Of the 5 B1A4 members, only Jinyoung (27) was the same age as CNU; it was recently revealed that Jinyoung and Baro (26) decided to part ways with their former label WM Ent. in order to pursue new opportunities.
