The members of TEEN TOP opened up about their progress, decreased fame, and more.
In an interview with 'News-ade', TEEN TOP gave honest answers on their music and popularity. To the question, "What's TEEN TOP's status on their 9th year?", Changjo answered, "We've let go of a lot of things and we've come down a lot. We have to climb back up."
C.A.P mentioned the loss of their fans, saying, "(The number of fans) decreased about a quarter (25%)."
The next question asked, "When did you actually feel your drop in popularity?" Niel answered, "I remember being pretty good at the time of 'Rocking'. It dropped a little during 'Missing' and then we really fell during 'Warning Sign'."
'News-ade' asked, "What do you think is the reason?" Niel replied, "I think my changes..." Changjo said, "I think it might be because we went in a different direction from what the public wanted."
When asked, "Why does it seem like TEEN TOP is always doing the same music?" Ricky said, "I do think we had some change in color when looking at our different title tracks and albums though." Chunji added, "I think the public wants exciting, performance-centered music when they think of 'TEEN TOP'. So we're trying to go back to that direction."
