In a new video shared by 'NewsAde', the three girls of Oh My Girl's "Banana Allergy Monkey" unit shared interesting stories related to their experiences with professional job or school interviews.
One story that member Hyojung revealed was that of an interview she attended to apply for her college, where she eventually graduated in 2017 as a K-Pop major.
She revealed, "When I sang at the interview, no one responded to it. Then, I thought to myself, 'What do I do? I will be rejected. This is the end.' But, all of a sudden, the interviewer asked me: 'Why did you apply for this major?' To answer their question, I replied, 'I wanted to create a K-Pop major myself! But, your institution made it first, so that is why I applied to become a part of it.' He then asked, 'You tried to make one yourself?' Then, I said, 'Yes! There wasn't a major that integrated both singing and dancing, so I wanted to make one in the future. By the way, who created this major?'"
Hyojung's daring question wowed the other Oh My Girls members, as well as the viewers. It was later revealed that Hyojung was accepted into the major of that school as one of the primary students to be accepted on a rolling basis.
Some comments that praised Hyojung read, "I would have been impressed if I were the professor, too~" "Questioning back to the interviewers...that is incredible", "Her sensibility is out of this world!", etc.
