On March 28, Cre.Ker Entertainment announced via The Boyz's official fancafe, "Member Hwall is unable to participate in The Boyz's mini album 'The Start' promotions due to health issues."
According to The Boyz's label, Hwall recently underwent posterior tibialis tendon surgery on March 27 at a hospital in Gangnam. He was recommended 3 months of rest and recuperation right after the surgery.
"Hwall devoted himself to preparations for this comeback more passionately than anyone," said Cre.Ker Entertainment. "We apologize to fans for worrying you with sudden news of the surgery. We promise to put in our best efforts so that not only will Hwall be able to focus entirely on his physical therapy, but also so that The Boyz will be able to carry out their comeback promotions successfully."
The Boyz's 2nd mini album 'The Start' is set for release on April 3 at 6PM KST, with a comeback showcase at 8PM KST on the same day. Get well soon, Hwall!
