Shinhwa, who debuted in 1998, is known as the longest-running idol group in K-Pop. The group has released a total of 13 full albums within the past 20 years, and is also the first idol group ever to own the copyrights to their own group name, as of May 2015.
On January 1, Shinhwa revealed a teaser poster for their upcoming 20th-anniversary project, which is expected to run all year long. Shinhwa's plans in 2018 include a 20th-anniversary special album, a brand new gift single release for their fans Shinhwa Changjo, as well as a large-scale 20th-anniversary fan meeting, plus an anniversary concert tour.
Furthermore, Shinhwa plans to greet fans and the general public alike with a series of variety show appearances throughout 2018. The group is currently discussing the possibility of 'Shinhwa Broadcast' season 2, after their hit solo variety show back in 2013. Their 20th anniversary project will go by the theme of "All Your 2018".
Look forward to the year of Shinhwa in 2018!
