Psychiatrist suspects Yoo Ah In of hypomania, symptoms likely to worsen in the coming months

Yoo Ah In
Psychiatrist Kim Hyun Chul who made a previous appearance on MBC's 'Infinity Challenge' commented on actor Yoo Ah In's mental health.

On November 28, Psychiatrist Kim wrote on his Twitter account, "In regards to Yoo Ah In's case, symptoms will likely be at its worse in February next year.  Things aren't looking too bright."

In order to get a detailed explanation, Kim tried to get a hold of Yoo Ah In's agency and affiliates but failed to do so.

The first time Psychiatrist Kim showed interest in Yoo Ah In's social media postings began on November 26.  He expressed his concerns for the star, commenting, "Reading Yoo Ah In social media posts provokes me as a psychiatrist...I wonder if his tweets link back to memories of his childhood or other similar triggers."

After no particular response from Yoo Ah In's agency, Psychiatrist Kim wrote via social media once again on November 27, "If and when seriously neglected or misunderstood, and when one is unable to control his state of disillusionment, there is a high chance of acute hypomania arising.  It seems he has a lot of things going on at the moment from movie contracts and a busy schedule...please somebody from the agency or his relatives in Daegu, please send me a text message as this is an urgent matter.  This isn't about the present but in regards to what happens later on, if he falls into depression things can get dangerous."
