Park Shin Hye talked about the darker side to her personality in a recent interview with TV Report.
The actress opened up about her role in the upcoming film 'Silence' and how it's a stark contrast to the bright, cheerful characters she's played in the past. Park Shin Hye said, "I know how to express it when I'm in a bad mood too. I'm saying I'm not just a nice person who covers my own feelings and gives to others. However, the characters I play on TV have always been bright and cheerful, so there are a lot of people who are taken aback when they meet me in person."
She continued, "My temper can also flare at times, I can cry out of anger, and sometimes I stay at home all day. When I think something's not right, I'll voice my complaints. Just because it's me, I can't always be cheerful and fresh like I just ate 1000 vitamins."
As an actor who's been in the business for 15 years, Park Shin Hye also talked about how it's affected her personal life, saying, "My personal life is just as important as my life as actress Park Shin Hye. I want to always live a healthy life. My life is like a swan on top of a lake. It's beautiful and pretty on top of the water, but to float like that, you have to move your feet like mad underneath. I'm not someone who lives without worries. I was going through a really rough time before, and when I looked back, there were malicious words and difficult moments, but there were a lot more happy days."
