MC Kim Sook mentioned that Clara is a big superstar in China. Clara explained that the Chinese movie she participated in did around $100 million at the box office. She then talked about how her life changed from a single pitch.
Back in 2013, Clara was a relatively unknown actress but that all changed after her ceremonial first pitch for the Doosan Bears in May 2013. She wore form-fitting leggings and after her sexy pitch, she became an overnight sensation.
Clara said, "My life changed after pitching at a baseball game. I was brought in as a substitute and it just happened. They contacted us three days prior to throw the first pitch but my company initially declined. I was unknown for the past seven years so this was my chance and a good opportunity for me."
Clara continued, "There's only a short time to pitch. So I thought about the best outfit to wear out on the field."
The actress/model explained how she rose to fame, "After I pitched, my name popped up all over the real time search engines. Being recognized at last, I felt my sorrows being washed away. I posed for CFs and earned 3x more in my earnings. I was so busy that I didn't even notice time was passing by."
