Teddy is known for producing the best hits for YG girl groups, starting with 2NE1. All of Black Pink's songs have been produced by Teddy: "Whistle", "Boombayah", "Playing with Fire", "Stay", and "As If It's Your Last". 

Jisoo said, "For the past 2-3 years, we've only worked with Teddy. I don't think we're ready to work with anyone else yet. Of course, we would like to work with others but right now, we like Teddy's producing the best". Jennie also added, "Before we complete our songs, we like our individual colors to be in the song. Teddy is someone who has been watching over and guiding us for a long time so he knows each of our strong points the best. Truthfully, we're grateful he's continued to produce songs for us over and over again". 

Rose also mentioned, "I don't know if it's because we worked with Teddy from the beginning but working with other producers slightly scares us. He knows our strong and weak points very well. Thank you, Teddy". Lisa finished by saying, "I agree with all of them. God Teddy!"

They also stated how grateful they are of their boss, Yang Hyun Suk as well, "He tends to tell us what to fix more than simple praises. He doesn't scold us but instead monitors a lot for us and gives us feedback even on practice videos. We were moved by him before as well. When we first debuted, when we came in first, when we were number one on the most searched chart, he captured every single one of those memorable moments and sent it to our group chat with a thumbs up. We were really moved by those actions".
