IU's agency has denied earlier reports that the singer would be spending her 25th birthday by doing community service with fans.
On May 10, a media outlet reported IU agreed to hold a birthday event with 50 fans, who suggested they paint wall murals in a traditional neighborhood in Seoul. However, FAVE Entertainment has now stated, "Reports saying IU will be joining her fans to paint murals are wrong. She already has an event set for that day, so only her fans will be participating. IU's participation wasn't planned from the start, so this news was unexpected."
The label added, "She is also scheduled to appear on 'Fantastic Duo 2' on her birthday, May 16."
In other news, IU will be featured on MBC Music's reboot of 'Picnic Live' on May 11.
