Wonho, whose real name is 'Hoseok', had been long-believed to have the last name 'Shin'. Many fans called him 'Shin Wonho' or 'Shin Hoseok'. However, it's now come out that his real name is 'Lee Hoseok', and that his stage name is just 'Wonho' - in other words, there's no 'Shin' anywhere.

They are listed as the same person in the Korea Music Copyright Association, and clicking on Lee Hoseok's name lists MONSTA X songs that he wrote lyrics for.
Monbebe, who had long believed his last name was 'Shin', are now trying to figure out how it happened, and why the label (or�Wonho�himself) never corrected anyone in the past two years. Some fans are asserting that neither�Wonho�himself nor�Starship Entertainment�ever said he was 'Shin' anything.
