Yoo Jae Suk revealed popular hit variety show 'Infinity Challenge' was almost canceled due to low ratings in the past.
The March 4th episode of the MBC show aired a special where the 'Infinity Challenge' cast looked back on the series. Yoo Jae Suk discussed the New Zealand special 'Ice Expedition', saying, "That was when 'Infinity Challenge' had viewer ratings below 4%. That's why we suggested we take it outdoors. The show's survival depended on the New Zealand special."
Jung Jun Ha added, "There were a lot of ups and downs that episode. It was supposed to take 16 hours to fly there, but it took 27 hours." Yoo Jae Suk continued, "When we got to New Zealand, the filming fell apart too. That's why we covered it up with a 'rolling paper' segment, and that's when 'Infinity Challenge' really got popular."
Does anyone remember when 'Infinity Challenge' wasn't that popular?
