On the January 26 broadcast of JTBC2's 'MONSTA X-Ray', MONSTA X continued with their given task of making kimchi.
The members were also given roles to carry out roleplay during their mission, with Shonwu as the mother-in-law, Minhyuk as Shonwu's daughter, Wonho as the manservant, Hyungwon, Kihyun, and I.M as the three daughters-in-law, and Jooheon as their dog.
While the daughters-in-law got bossed around chopping radish, Minhyuk butted in pointing out that they weren't doing it right, and grabbed the knife himself. After chopping radish for a while, Minhyuk remarked, "I bet when our moms see this, they'll think it's ridiculous." The members added, "My mom will probably find the fact that I'm holding a knife unbelievable."
Kihyun also pondered, "How did my mom do this all by herself?", and after finally finishing the kimchi, Minhyuk said to the camera, "Mom, don't make kimchi [again]. Don't make it, just eat it."
After their laborious day and dinner, Wonho commented, "Making [kimchi] took so long. I understand the saying, 'You live to eat' now. In order to eat this, we worked all day." The members agreed that the kimchi that they had personally made was the tastiest food they'd eaten that day, and gifted the kimchi to the townspeople.
Making kimchi is seriously no joke!
