For a recent interview with enews24, Jo Jae Hyun gave his positive first impressions of Xiumin.

The actor admitted, "Honestly, I had no idea that Xiumin was so popular. He was behaving exactly like a typical rookie actor with a minor role would on set, even during the table read. He wasn't accompanied by a giant posse of staff members nor did he act like a big star."
Jo Jae Hyun continued, "Xiumin was usually seen smiling on set. I've never seen him sitting by himself and acting all arrogant. In the past, there were many idols who would attempt acting without any preparations. But I think that's completely changed now. Just looking at Xiumin, it's evident that he's prepared not only his acting but also the right attitude."
