When asked how their collaboration for "Boys and Girls" came to be, Zico revealed, "As soon as I had the melody for 'Boys and Girls', I knew that Babylon hyung needed to be the vocalist. Partly, I was interested in him as a new and rising vocalist, and partly, I was confident that I could brand the name Babylon through this song."
The two, who've known each other for about 5 years, talked about how Babylon had to change his singing style to meet more public standards. Zico relayed, "When Gaeko and Yankie's 'Cheers' came out, I was shocked. He definitely didn't sing like that before, but he'd changed his hardware completely to fit an R&B singer." Babylon also chimed in, "I just wasn't confident enough about producing a professional sound for the music I like. I just thought, 'I like this kind of music.'"
About his upcoming solo release, Babylon stated, "I'm constantly studying singing and vocals, so I'm trying to focus on that. I'm trying to keep myself identifiable through my emotions and skill since all songs require that one voice that attracts people."
It sounds like the two musicians have been hard at work, don't you agree? Check out their pictorial cuts below!
